Located on a tree-lined block in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, this two-family townhome makes an iconic contribution to the neighborhood, energizing the area with a new architectural expression through the geometric forms of its custom-fabricated windows.
Introduction 01
The interior features two three-bedroom units configured as triplexes — a strategy that allows both units to take advantage of both the front view of the street and the rear view of the courtyard, with well-proportioned spaces that are inviting and human-scaled.
Functionality 02
The openness and transparency of the lower level, contrasted with the volumetric quality of the forms above, create a distinctively modern expression that is unique to the surrounding streetscape.
